Minecraft Nether portals are not taking me back?

So you’ve crated a bunch of portals and you can’t connected them?

Don’t stress! Here’s the solution.

You need to set another portal up in the nether. Divide by eight from your coordinates and that’s the coordinates you want to build your portal in the nether.

Alternatively you could use a portal calculator such as This One. Just plug your Normal Coordinates into the “Overworld” portion and the coordinates that show in the “Nether” portion will be where you need to build your portal.

In short:

Step 1) record the coordinates of your house

Step 2) go to the nether

Step 3) Divide the coordinates of your house by eight

Step 4) build a new portal in the nether with your new coordinates and light it up
